Scarves

Before I write this post let me just share that I just saw a lady in the street with the cutest hair band ever it had African prints and it was just to die for. Wish I had a taken a picture for you guys to see it. Anyway today am going to talk about scarves. I love scarves and i have a closet full of them. So I got to thinking what are the various ways that I can use the mountains of scarves I have. So I got to researching and even experimented most of what i found on my own. Promise to post the pictures of the little experiments that I did.

The usual ways that I mostly used scarves was to tie around my neck into the various styles that I got to know. Am not very good at tying a head gear but I did use the scarf as a head band. I also used the scarves to decorate my bag and one can be as creative as they want to be, just like in the picture below the scarf has been tied into a nice bow

I did some little experiments of my own where I took the scarves and an old purse and pimped it into a nice clutch bag. Don't miss the next post when I upload the pictures. While searching for scarves I stumbled onto a interesting wrist watch below

I have a watch that has a nice little face but it looked too masculine for my taste and when I saw this I tried to tie a scarve around the watch and it was perfect. It was no longer too masculine. I did the same with the bangles that I had and now I have a whole assortment of bangles to wear to those events that I usually don't know what to wear.

Well the is the usual wearing a scarf as a belt. It is a wonderful concept but sometimes does not look as interesting.Try this ideas that I found u can use a nice bangle or ring to act a buckle to the belt. You can also use a brooch to add detail to the scarf belt.

So get those several scarves you have tucked away in your close and try one of the options above. And when you see a nice scarf being sold on the streets get one cause it may come in handy.

Kwaheri.
